2 Futures Diorama

This window diorama was created by working closely with a group of local youth from Warwick, NY. The project was conceived of, and created by local youth and created by them, in collaboration with ClimateChangesArt and the Warwick Summer Arts Festival. The diorama, which was displayed for two weeks in a prominent window in downtown Warwick, portrayed the youths' views of two possible futures for the planet. One overrun by pollution and smog, with gray skies and too many cars. The second view was of a clean energy future, with wind turbines and local gardens. Just by glancing at the project, you could tell which future you wanted to be a part of. The diorama was constructed from "99.9% garbage" and was recycled after its engagement in Giant Copy's window. Even trash enjoys a few minutes of fame before it returns to its maker.
